Developing Strong Students and Courageous Leaders for Christ

Training Children for True Success

At CrossLife we want your child to thrive in an environment that promotes growth in all the areas essential for true success in life – faith, knowledge, skills, and character.

CrossLife Christian Academy was founded on the commitment to partner with parents and provide children in Pflugerville, TX, and its surrounding areas an education that best prepares them for life. Our educational philosophy guides the CrossLife staff as they get to know each child as an individual and teach from a curriculum that incorporates strong academics, Biblical values, practical skills, and character development into each school day.

Shaping Tomorrow's Leaders

Biblical Foundation

Scriptural truths and Christian values are integrated into daily lessons and interactions, helping children grow in faith and understand the world from a Biblical perspective. Learn more about Faith Building at CrossLife.

Quality Education

Academic growth is fostered through creative, engaging, and data-driven methods. Schoolwide MAP testing results are above the national average in all three categories of reading, math, and language usage.

Character & Skill Development

Competence and a moral compass are both crucial elements of a child’s future success. That’s why we use a curriculum designed to develop leadership qualities, responsibility, empathy, and practical skills in the lives of our students. Learn more about Character & Skill Development at CrossLife.

Nurturing the Foundations

In PreK 3 and PreK 4, we lay the groundwork for a lifetime of learning. PreK teachers implement HighScope’s 5 ingredients for active learning to stimulate children’s creativity and curiosity. Incorporating these ingredients in the classroom each day allows children to challenge themselves, develop their interests and talents, and learn skills at their own rate – typically accelerated. Best of all, it makes work time feel like “play time!”

Building on the Essentials

Students develop a foundational knowledge of beginner math and reading skills during their Kindergarten year. Teachers use a multi-sensory instructional approach, teaching math through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic activities. During reading times, there is a mix of large group and small group learning designed to meet each student at their individual level of learning and help them excel.

Sharpening Minds, Shaping Leaders

At CrossLife Christian Academy, elementary education is a journey of growing independence and leadership.

From 1st grade, students enhance independent work skills, learn phonics rules and grammar, and build foundational math competencies. In 2nd grade, the focus shifts to cultivating leadership and an independent mindset while strengthening core academic skills through hands-on and group learning. In grades 3 – 5, students are steeped in a culture of responsibility, independent learning, and the practical application of God’s Word to daily life.

Leadership roles in the classroom and service projects also prepare elementary students to be responsible, community-minded individuals.

Give your child the opportunity to thrive.
